PRN is a group of specialists in healthcare communication, helping to improve interactions between patients and physicians.  Our goal is to make communication more effective, efficient, and satisfying for all involved.  

PRN is dedicated to providing effective, evidence-based programs that make a real difference in satisfaction and clinical outcomes.  Our team works closely with medical research institutes, health policy advisors, experienced educators and behavioral specialists to create coaching workshops and individual sessions that improve confidence, competence and comfort in healthcare communication.​

We value our collaboration with hospitals, medical schools and private physicians who reach out to us for support, and who provide ongoing research and practical examples of skillful communication on which we build our programs.

We are grateful for the contribution made by professional simulators, including Medical Actors, Standardized Patients and our specially trained team of Coaching Partners.  Their intense portrayal and specific feedback makes immersive learning come alive for medical students and experienced physicians.  We honor their contribution by advocating for their psychological safety, both in our own organization and others.  PRN Consulting is a leader in developing and teaching self-care protocols for professional simulators who portray trauma, and we encourage all organizations who work with simulators to implement standards of care for their psychological safety.
